About
My name is Brad Fruhauff. I have a PhD in English literature, I’ve taught college English, worked for a university communications department, covered trade shows for the beer industry, run a literary journal, led a writing team, and a bunch of other things I can’t always remember.
My career has not been linear. I thought I was going to be a college professor until I retired, but things happen, and it wasn’t meant to be.
So I tried something else. Then something else again.
But the common theme throughout my professional life?
Words.
Whether writing my own words, improving others’ words, or teaching others how to use words well, I’ve been a word guy.
Writer | Editor | Ghost
Since 2016, I’ve taken all the skills and knowledge I’ve acquired using words across dozens of contexts to help people and businesses sound competent and professional on the page or screen.
As a writer, I write the words that communicate your brand, personal or corporate, to the audience you’re trying to reach.
As an editor, I organize, clarify, and correct author’s words so their message can hit home.
As a ghostwriter, I turn professional knowledge into prose so people who don’t have the skills or time to write can still become authors so they can demonstrate their expertise to a broader audience.
I’ve worked with, among other things…
articles | service pages | novels |
case studies | fundraising letters | memoirs |
package copy | gift catalog copy | thought leadership |
emails | white papers | ebooks |
And I’ve worked with, among other people…
first-time novelists | lawyers | agricultural supply | clergy |
experienced novelists | medical professionals | financial planners | digital agencies |
executives | SaaS | magazines | publishers |
breweries | manufacturers | psychologists | photographers |
And what about you? What great story do you have to share with the world?
